The Zeta Pereids In-World
The Zeta Perseids meteor shower is set to arive this month and the following information is now available in-world.
The zeta Perseids, peak a week later than the Arietids on June 13, however being closer to the sun they are even more difficult to spot than the Arietids in the pre-dawn skies.
The radiant of the shower this close to the horizon will require some long trailed meteors in order to make any visible. The zeta Perseids strike the Earths atmosphere while moving at some 65,000 mph.

Investing in Solar Energy
If you have been teleporting over to Spaceport UK of recent times them you will have no doubt seen our new sky platform for Aso's Solar Homes. While our space technology concept for the sim is continuing to bare good fruit, we are aware not only from visitors but from general comments from the press and media that there is some need for a wider relevance of space research and technology. Well that's a valid point and you only have look toward the work carried out by space agencies such as NASA and their work in wind turbines and solar cells to realise that there is in fact a strong and very connection between these two fields. And so with that in mind we have plunged some not inconsiderable effort into constructing and selling Solar energy builds from solar panels all the way to solar homes. If you come along and take a look you will see that all out devices keep you fully informed on such things as energy and carbon saving.
look forward to comments and visits, regards Aso

Beware of Daleks
As you wander around Spaceport UK enjoying the many interactive exhibits that we have available, beware. Just recently we have been receiving reports from our visitors of unproved attacks upon them from an alien mutant part creature part machine life form known as the Daleks.
Please post all sitings to this blog in the hope of attracting the attention of a certain time traveller.

New blog live
The new blog for Spaceport UK is live and accessible from the landing point arrival centre. Avatars can now blog live from the blog board, and hopefully this will prove to be a success with our visitors as we develop Spaceport UK. The purpose of the facility as a medium for raising general public awareness of space and the part that the UK has and will continue to contribute remains key, as does the design and development of exhibits able to draw in central STEM themes.
